No boutique keeps a whole collection in every size. Each one selects the gowns that suit its brides.

No, and that is a deliberate choice. Finding your dress deserves a mirror, an unhurried afternoon and someone who knows how the gown will behave on you.

We do not authorise anyone to sell our wedding dresses over the internet. A dress offered under the DAMA Couture name outside our boutiques carries no guarantee from us — neither of authenticity nor of quality.

Ask the boutique nearest you. Prices are set by each authorised retailer and differ between regions, so only they can give you the exact figure — together with the cost of alterations and any modifications you would like.

Nine to twelve months before the wedding. That leaves time to sew the gown, deliver it to your boutique and do the alterations without haste.

Almost every dress needs some fitting work: hemming, taking in the seams, shortening the straps, adding a bustle to the train.

Once a year. We present the new collection in August, before brides start looking for gowns for the following season.

Ask your local bridal boutique to write to us. We take on new retailers every year and the selection is careful — a boutique has to treat brides the way we do, honestly and without pressure.

We make dresses in all sizes. A 10% surcharge applies to curvy styles from EU size 48.

Our Size guide lists bust, waist and hip measurements for every size. If you fall between two, write to hello@damacouture.pl and we will advise.

Dama means a lady in Polish. To us it means more than the word.

A Dama knows who she is and what she is capable of. She steps outside her comfort zone when she needs to. She makes room for herself and welcomes others into it. She follows her heart rather than the rules she was handed.

She is honest, intelligent, playful and ambitious. She chooses quality over quantity and is selective about what surrounds her.

Wherever she comes from, she deserves respect, love and a dress made with the same care she gives everything else.

That it is cut for a real body and a long day, not for a single photograph. That the seams hold when you dance. That the fabric behaves when you sit down for dinner.

And that you are treated as a Dama from the first fitting to the last.
